Had an amazing day on the River today. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I will book with this company next year. They were very attentive. Supplied great kayaks which were stable. Explained safety on the river (which was great when speed boats passed). I have never kayak on a river, just lakes but they made me feel confident enough to do it and glad I did.

I can't say enough good things about River Otter Kayak Adventures! From start to finish, our experience was flawless, and it was all thanks to their incredible service.

Our original date was cancelled due to severe weather but rescheduling was very easy.

We rented a kayak for the Capilano to Fort Saskatchewan trip, and the gear was in pristine condition—high-quality and clearly well-maintained. Shannon and Peter were fantastic, offering helpful advice and ensuring we had everything we needed for a safe and fun trip.

The shuttle service was fabulous! It was seamless and incredibly convenient, completely taking the stress out of our logistics. It made our journey from the drop-off to the end point effortless.

River Otter Kayak is an experience everyone must have! They made my birthday an adventure that I will remember forever! Shannon, Peter and family are fantastic communicators & clearly very compassionate about kayaking, making sure everyone is feeling safe and has fun. The paddle- who knew that such a hidden gem existed in the city of Edmonton- Gorgeous scenery, architecture and animals while giving a different perspective on the city from the water! If you're looking for a great day on the water, no matter skill set- I highly recommend River Otter Kayak! Ps: if it's your birthday- you may even get balloons attached to your kayak like they did for me :)

We had a wonderful experience kayaking down the Saskatchewan River. It was relaxing, peaceful and fun for our group ranging in age from 7 to 79 years old! Shannon and Peter were very helpful in getting us settled in the kayaks. We would definitely recommend this excursion.

You simply show up at the launch spot, climb into the kayak, find your rhythm with the paddle, the water, the abundant nature all around - you relax and enjoy! That's all. Everything else is expertly handled by the River Otter Kayak Adventures team. They provide quality equipment and service, give all the information you need, and focus on your comfort and safety. The result of their efforts is one of Edmonton's most rewarding summer experiences. Mine was a late June river jaunt, and I can't wait to repeat it!

What a fantastic way to spend a morning! Peter and Shannon provided everything required for a day out on the river. The equipment was all top-notch and the entire experience was convenient and hassle-free. They explained everything very clearly, drove us out to the drop site and met us at the end, with smiles and cheers. We had a relaxing few hours on the water as a family, seeing the city from a different perspective. Highly recommend!
